Sister began her ministry as a religious Sister, teaching English, journalism and theology at Colegio Espiritu Santo, in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, and had her first experiences of collaborative retreat work with the Holy Ghost Fathers in their missions across the island.
Once she returned from Puerto Rico, she began ministry in the area of religious formation of adults in parishes in Miami and Philadelphia, and served as novice director and director of Holy Family Associates for her congregation. Sister has been a spiritual director for priests, religious and lay men and women in many dioceses across the country.
Sister is a workshop and retreat director for individuals and groups, concentrating on a broad variety of issues pertinent to Sacred Scripture, Parish Leadership, Family Life and Spirituality.
Sister’s educational background includes a BA in Psychology and Social Work from Holy Family University, an MA in Religious Studies from St. Charles Seminary, Philadelphia, PA, and in Spiritual Direction from St. Thomas University, Miami, as well as a certificate from the Sisters of Mercy Spiritual Center for Formators in Rochester, New York. Currently Sister serves as the Program Coordinator at the Nazareth Retreat Center.
